We know it’s convenient, but we hope you’ll understand our side too

Here’s the real story, if you’re curious 💛

  • The Morning Before Delivery

Once the bread comes out of the oven, everyone goes into hyper mode! Packing, sorting, sealing all the way until every loaf is out the door on time.

Because everything moves so fast, there is no extra time to wait for the bread to cool fully before it leaves us.

And honestly!? It’s nothing like those cozy, slow-paced baking videos on YouTube. It’s chaos!!

  • Hard to Slice Warm Bread

Our sourdough is high hydration, which gives it that soft crust and airy crumb we all love. But when it’s still warm, the inside is fragile... the structure hasn’t fully set yet.

If slicing it too soon, it is easy to squish or tear… and nobody wants that!

  • Whole Loaves Handle the Journey Better

Even though we deliver as early as we can, our breads still face heat and time on the road. Keeping them whole helps lock in moisture, protect its texture, and lowers the chance of them getting squashed. So you can enjoy your loaf in the best condition possible!

After all we’ve learned, we know this is the best way to keep your loaf in the best shape possible

Thank you once again for your understanding! We hope you’ll enjoy the simple joy of slicing it yourself
